Long-Time Senior Design Partner Ametek-CSI Makes Donation

Ametek P&AI specifically manufactures products and provides services to the Oil and Gas, Automotive/Tire, Metals, Food and Beverage, and Power Industries. One of the divisions of Ametek P&AI is Pineville, NC based Controls Southeast, Inc. Controls Southeast has been an Industry Supporter of the UNC Charlotte Lee College of Engineering’s Senior Design Program since 2017. Since this time, Ametek-CSI has sponsored 9 engineering senior design projects. These projects have been related to CSI’s engineered thermal process controls business. On June 9, 2023, Ametek-CSI expanded their support of education at UNC Charlotte by donating a full tuition scholarship to the Lee College of Engineering. At the donation ceremony, Brynn Douglas, who was a member of Ametek-CSI’s most recent Senior Design Project (Analysis and Testing of Liquid-Air Flow in a Heat Transfer Apparatus – Completed in May 2023), presented the results of her team’s work to the Ametek executives in attendance.
